Auto-Brightness Light Sensor Technology
What is it?
The light sensor measures the outside brightness according to different environments. It sends the information to the display, which adjusts its brightness automatically.
How does it work?
Light sensors detect the change of illumination outside, then sends the signal to the MCU via the I^2C interface. The MCU will transmit a PWM signal to the inverter, and the inverter will change the brightness of the panel.
The light sensor has five brightness level settings:
Steps | Panel Specification | Display Brightness |
---|---|---|
Lightest | Outdoor/Sunlight | 100% |
Lighter | Cloudy sky | 75% |
Normal(default) | Office/meeting room | 50% |
Darker | Bedroom | 25% |
Darkest | Dark room without window | min |
Each setting has its own illumination range dependent on external illumination. This technology makes the application more intelligent and user friendly.
